Gamekeeper traps in the Cotswold’s trashed.

Some traps were disabled permanently yesterday by anti hunt activists in the South West. Poison traps were trashed and sadly we were too late for one poor bird which was left to rot in a Larsen trap near some pheasant pens.

Jolly’s Circus Demos in Evesham

Peter Jolly’s circus Is currently plaguing us here in Evesham and are situated at Knowle Hill Road, WR11 7EL (A46). Apparently it’s some “traditional” western extravagnza with llamas and horses and other victims of human supremist crap.

The cruel, naive and ignorant (as well as undercover activists who have free tickets, allegedly) can book tickets on 07850 687503.

This circus have a reputation of being nasty, violent thugs and so we are prepared to defend ourselves if we are attacked.

Demo is on Wednesday 29th April 16.00 at the entrance. They will be here all week so please try and get out for a demo if you can!

Foie-gras forced off the menu at another Bath restaurant

‘Minibar’, on John Street, Bath has become the latest in a long string of Bath establishments to choose to remove foie gras from the menu after drawing attention from the local activist community.

After only the second demo at Minibar, the owner decided to remove the ‘delicacy’. The demo involved 14 activists, many of whom sported Halloween face masks and costumes and attracted widespread support from passers by and disgusted potential customers. We also brought along a jolly roger on a huge banner pole to inform diners in the first floor restaurant why we were there. At 9 o clock, we reached an amicable agreement with the owner, and decided to focus our attention on another restaurant, Pinch (formerly ‘Le Petit Cochon’). This place removed foie gras from the menu after a long and protracted fight, and the owner, Christophe LeCroix has a history of violently and sexually assaulting protesters and has recently put foie gras back on the menu. At 9.10, he was met with a short, but angry demo. He responded by cowering in his kitchen and sending a waitress to lock the doors and pull the blinds down. We left the letterbox and outside seating area littered with reminders of why we were there before leaving. We will be back time and time again until he gets the message.
All in all, a very successful night!

We really need help with this place, so any contact people could make with them to express their disgust at the continued sale of foie gras, and Christophes’ treatment of activists can be made to -

Voice your opposition to a new pet breeding centre planning application!

Plans for a new animal breeding centre in Redmarley in Gloucestershire will allow a member “50 types of animal” to be bred. Resident have have opposed the planning application for the reasons that they dont want reptiles to escape and effect the local area, NO ONE has mentioned the pet overpopulation problems that this disgusting centre will add to.

If people wish to look at adopting animals they should always go to their local shelters and give a new life to animals that are waiting for a new loving family!

250 Chickens liberated in Herefordshire by the ALF

“As a chicken farmer in Hereford was resting his tomato red face down onto his pillow, activists got to work.
Allowing themselves into one of the large battery units on site, they began to take birds out of cages and bag them up ready for the drive to their new homes free from the horrors of the farm.
In only a few hours 250 chickens where on their way to safety and the activists on their way home, another job well done.
